By accessing or using quota.sh ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
quota.sh is an API quota monitoring service that:
- Monitors API balances from various providers
- Sends alerts when balances fall below configured thresholds
- Provides historical balance tracking and analytics
- Offers integration with notification channels (email, Slack, Discord, etc.)
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Service Plans
4.1 Free Plan
- Up to 3 API monitors
- 6-hour balance checks
- Email alerts
- 1 month data retention
- Standard support
4.2 Pro Plan
- Up to 50 API monitors
- 1-minute balance checks
- Multi-channel alerts (Slack, Discord, Telegram, etc.)
- 1 year data retention
- Burn rate analytics
- Priority support
We reserve the right to modify plan features and pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.
5. Payment Terms
For paid plans:
- Payments are processed through Stripe
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
- Refunds are provided at our discretion
- You must provide valid payment information
- Prices are in USD unless otherwise stated
Failure to pay may result in service suspension or termination.
6. API Keys and Security
Regarding API keys you provide:
- You must have authorization to use the API keys
- API keys are encrypted using AES-256-CBC
- We only use API keys to check balances as configured
- You are responsible for the security of your API keys
- We are not liable for unauthorized use of your API keys
You should use read-only or limited-scope API keys whenever possible.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Use the Service to monitor APIs without authorization
- Reverse engineer or copy our software
- Resell or redistribute the Service
- Use automated tools to create accounts or abuse the Service
- Violate any third-party API provider's terms of service
8. Service Availability
We strive to provide reliable service, but:
- The Service is provided "as is" without warranties
- We do not guarantee 100% uptime
- Scheduled maintenance may cause temporary interruptions
- We are not responsible for third-party API provider outages
- Alert delivery is not guaranteed
We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of planned maintenance.
9. Data Retention and Deletion
Data retention policies:
- Free Plan: 1 month of balance and alert history
- Pro Plan: 1 year of balance and alert history
- Older data is automatically deleted
- Account deletion removes all associated data within 30 days
You can export your data before account deletion.
10. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by quota.sh and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of:
- Your API keys and credentials
- Your configuration and settings
- Your data and analytics
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, quota.sh shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
- Damages resulting from missed alerts or monitoring failures
- Unauthorized access to your API keys
- Third-party API provider issues or outages
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless quota.sh from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of third-party rights
- Unauthorized use of API keys you provided
13. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account:
- For violation of these Terms
- For fraudulent or illegal activity
- For non-payment (paid plans)
- At our discretion with or without notice
You may cancel your account at any time through the dashboard settings.
14. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party providers (API providers, notification services, etc.). You are responsible for:
- Complying with third-party terms of service
- Maintaining valid accounts with third-party services
- Any costs associated with third-party services
15. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
18. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and quota.sh regarding the Service.
